Image
Fallen Crest is back with a vengeance!  Samantha, Mason, and Logan are all together and united with one common enemy: Sebastian Park, the king of fraternity douchebags. With professional football scouts eyeing his every move, Mason Kade has to walk the line for the first time in his life. Any move he makes against Sebastian has to be perfect and under the radar. One mistake, and his career is over.Sebastian has other plans. Mason’s career isn’t his target—not even close. Wanting to destroy Mason completely, Sebastian knows he must hit him where it hurts the most: Samantha, who doesn’t give a rat’s ass that she’s the target. Sam is bound and determined to protect Mason herself, no matter the cost, but what if the cost is beyond her imagination? What if this time, the villain wins?

Fallen Fourth Down (Fallen Crest High #4)

Image
Soooo... This book was a filler. Nothing changed, except Sam was a nervous wreck abou Logans love for her. Damn Tate and her big mouth... This book was like a story to prepare the battlefield for the next book. All the involved parties were introduced, the main rules were set, and the next book is going to get this party started... Her mother tried to destroy her. So she doesn’t exist to Sam anymore and her father, the one who raised her and the biological one, are both works in progress. The only two people that She can trust are Mason and Logan, and they’re the two people who she could lose. Although she swears it won’t happen, that she won't let it, she almost does it herself.  I liked it, but it was just too much of Sams insecurity. Instead of her discussing it with Logan and Mase, she kept it to herself, almost destroying their threesome fearsome. She was running again. There was a part where she finally grew balls  You want to take me on? Do it. I’m going ...

Fallen Crest Public (Fallen Crest High #3)

Image
Sam's first day at the Fallen Crest Public doesn't go well. Some girls want to be her. Some girls want to destroy her. And some just don't like her. All in all, despite being protected by Mason and Logan, it's still only the strong survive. There is Kate and her little group, who want to rule the school and terrorize Sam, and they don't really care about the boys protecting her. Not after they are exiled from the "elite"of the Fallen Crest Public. Sam will not only have to survive, she needs to learn how to conquer too, but there's another battle growing. Things are about to come to a disastrous end between the towns, Roussou and Fallen Crest. One of the Roussou brothers wants to date Sam and the other wants to destroy her. Sam is in the middle of everything... This book was so disastrous, so horrfying, so much bad things happened to her and despite everything she stayed she fought and win... Well not really, but almost, 'cause the end of the ...

Fallen Crest Family (Fallen Crest Hign #2)

Image
The second book from the Fallen Crest High series is Fallen Crest Family. If you haven't read the first book I highly recommend to read it. Now that you were warned... This book was lovely. But that's it, it didn't get me very deep. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing book, but the first one was better. All the drama around Sam started to be a little too much. Now that Sam and Mason finally got together, you would think that it's going to get better. Well buddy, I have to tell you, you're wrong... It gets even harder. Sam is fighting for Mason, for Logan, with her parents, with the boy's parents, with her school, with the boys' school... Basically the whole world... Crazy huh? Just wait.. It gets even crazier. Not everything, but her mom definitely. She is CRAZY! Something form Sams past start to haunt her, and it seems that she can't get over it and her mom is going to win. After everything Sam, Mason and Logan moves to Nathan, what is ano...

Fallen Crest High (Fallen Crest High #1)

Image
It was a bit long time ago when I last wrote about a book. This time I started from a new author: Tijan, her series Fallen Crest High. The first book from the series is named the same the whole series. I have to tell you I was genuinely surprised by the book. I reeeeally loved it. Mason and Logan Kade are two brothers who did their own thing. They were rich and expected to attend Samanthas school, Fallen Crest Academy. They chose public school instead and now Samantha has to live with them. The problem is that she doesn't care at all: about them, about her friends, about her cheating boyfriend, or even about her parent's divorce. It is until rumor starts about her and the "Oh, so famous" Kade brothers, and until Logan Kade decides the he likes her, and takes her under his, and of course, Masons protective wings. Well, beside the Kade brother there is the ex boyfriend, and the friend who wants to be the boyfriend. There are the other girls, who are jumping fo...

Hardcore (#1, #2 & #3)

Image
The next series I started was Hardcore, also from Staci Hart. I have to tell you it was a long time ago, I've had such mixed feelings about a book. Volume one I liked, volume two not so much, but volume three I loved so much. People don’t change. They’re only revealed. Cory James has never known a life where she wasn’t running. Running from the cops, her home, her past. Running from love. The only time she’s free is when she throws on her hood and takes to the roofs to run. Stealing is nothing, lying inevitable, byproducts of survival. A way for Cory to provide for herself and for her younger sister, Jill, give her the life Cory couldn’t have. For five years, Cory built a house of cards, where the first card has fallen when she met Van and it was only just a matter of time before her whole house of cards is in danger of falling apart. She can tell herself over and again that she doesn’t care, but even she knows it’s a lie.  Today marked the first step toward betraying hi...

Living out Loud (Austen #3)

Image
Yes!Yes!YES!YEEEES! Staci Hart you did it again! Seriously for me this was the most amazing book form all the Austen series. I thought I was in love with Wasted Words. Then I read A Thousand Letters and I was blown away. Now, after Living out Loud I am speechless. Never in million years would have thought that I am going to like this even more than the preivous ones. Well, I was obviously mistaken. Living out Loud is a beautiful story about Greg Brandon and Anni Daschle (and Will Bailey, but he doesn't matter). When Annies dad dies in a car accident and her mom loses her ability to walk, they have no choice than to move from her home town in Texas. New city, new beginning, new chances, a chance to start Living out Loud. After successfully bumping into Greg at Wasted Words she can't wait to start working there and finally cross one of the things on her "firsts" list. After Greg sees Annie he can't stop thinking about her. After he sees her age, well, rat...

A Thousand Letters (Austen #2)

Image
After finishing Wasted words, the first book in the Austen series, I decided to give a shot to the second one and OMG! It was so much more than the first one. If I loved the first one, with this one I was madly in love. Like the I-can't-put-it-down-for-one-single-minute kind of love. Braveness isn't always loud. Sometimes it's silent. There's braveness in sacrifice and kindness. It's in doing a thing that needs to be done, even though it's hard, and even though it hurts. The story begins with a phone call. To call together a family. To be there for their dad ,in his last moments. In the most heart wrecking a couple of chapters I ever read, after seven years of being apart, Wade and Elliot meet again. They were madly in love, they were engaged and were planning to live together. That is when life happened. Elliots family is weird. They don't care about each other. Elli is living with her sister, husband and kids. She is a caretaker, a servant, a...

Wasted words (Austen #1)

Image
After finishing Staci Harts Bad Habits series I immediately started her next series which is called Austen. The first book in this series is Wasted words. According to Cam some universal truths refuse to be ignored, like peanut butter and jelly are a match made in heaven. Spaghetti and meatballs are best friends forever. And guys like Tyler Knight don’t go for girls like Cam Emerson. She knew from the second she met him that he didn’t belong on her bookshelf (according to Cam everybody belongs to one of the booshelves and you can only be happy, when you find somebody to love from your shelf). I lived a thousand lives to escape from real life, because real life is boring and shitty. There’s no adventure, not like we get with Tolkien or Lewis. So she shelved him next to the supermodels and rock stars and took her place on her own shelf. Tyler was friend zoned. I’d always sorted people, just like books in the Dewey Decimal System, where everything had its place. Sinc...

Last call (Bad habits #3)

Image
The last book in the Bad habits series by Staci hart is Last call. When I learned that it was about Patrick and Rose, I couldn't start fast enough to read it. I was really, REALLY excited... When Patrick, dumped Rose and then showed up with a super hot, tatted up sexy girl, well then it was over for Rose. Basically, she played her part as friends, pretended, but that was all she could do to not murder her ex, or kiss him... On top of everything she even dreamed about him. Except one morning she found him in her best firends, Lily's bed. No, don't think anything wrong... Remember her from book 1? West and Lily ended up together in their happily ever after, and now they were "camping" at West and Patrick's place. Now if Patrick wanted to get some sleep he needed a quiet place. Just like Lily's bed. I don't have to tell you that when Rose found out about it she freaked out, got scared and so on... But with their friends paired off, just like Pa...

Chaser (Bad habits #2)

Image
The next book from Staci Harts' Bad habits series is the Chaser. I couldn't wait to start reading this book. I was super excited and I have to tell y'all it was totally worth the wait. I LOVED it! It is the story of Cooper and Maggie. After Maggie finds her fiancé, soon to be husband banging her maid of honor an hour before she was set to walk down the aisle, to say that she is broken and desperate is an understatement. That is when she sees Cooper, sparks fly and he helps her to forget the heartache and pain... well at least for a couple of minutes. After that little secret "meeting" (if you know what I mean 😉) they go their own separate ways, but life is a funny little thing, and when Maggie decides to escape the small town, where everybody knows everything better, Cooper is the one, again, who is there to pick her up at the airport. There are sparks again, but Maggie is afraid so sets down some rules. Cooper being a playboy womanizer takes it as his per...

With a Twist (Bad habits #1)

Image
The first book from the Bad habits series form Staci Hart is With a twist. I started reading it based on Goodreads recommendation, and I have to tell you it was everything I hoped for. West Williams has been friends with Lily since the day she moved into their building and he saved her armoire from a swift, sudden death by staircase. Their friendship has always been easy, the boundaries clearly defined. With neither of them willing to risk their relationship, they’ve drifted happily through the years as companions, never considering more. When Lilys teenager crush Blaine breaks up with his always on and off girlfriend Nadia, she takes the opportunity and hooks up with Blaine. But instead of the imagined prince, he behaves like a douchbag, leaving Lily wondering if there is ever going to be more between them. West is having a really hard time accepting, that Lily found someone in whom she is interested. After some stupid moves from Blaine, Lily finally realises that he is never ...

Staci Hart

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life: a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom to three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, even though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey, and her favorite word starts with f, ends with k.
From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north in Denver, until they grew a wild hair and moved to Holland. It’s the perfect place to overdose on cheese and ride bicycles, especially along the canals, and especially in summertime. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, gaming, or designing graphics. Series of Staci Hart: Austen Bad habits Hearts & Arrows Hardcore Nighthawk Standalones ...

Matefinder part 2

Image
So I've finished the Matefinder series by Leia Stone . Honestly, I don't know what to say.  I'm speechless, sitting on my bed, asking why is it over. My first thought after finishing the second part (Devi) was: Yes! I want more!. Now the third part (Balance) was a bit shorter, but after the ending I couldn't stop smiling. Although I missed One more vision with Emma finding Dave again... There were some parts, where Aurora seriously got on my nerves, with her: "I have to do it alone because it's my destiny" thing, but other than that I loved how grown up, serious and badass she was, with her karate moves. Kai was sweet understanding, but sometimes Aurora got even on his nerves.  There was a balance between the two main characters. As much as Aurora wanted to do everything alone, that much wanted Kai to protect Aurora from everything. So they equally did things sometimes wrong. Some of you may think that Aurora was stupid and careless, bu...

Matefinder part 1

Image
After reading the Dragons & Druids series I was pretty much obsessed with Leia Stone and her magical creatures, so I started to read her other series: Matefinder . The story begins with a girl being in pain and finding out, that she was in an accident and an alpha turned her into a wolf. As the story flows we are finding out some very interesting stuff about our main character and her life. I don't want to reveal much from the storyline, so I'm going to say that some serious s**t is about to happen in the book. As for our main characters: Aurora is some badass, lovable woman werewolf, who sometimes uses sarcasm as her protecting shield. She is blond, of course beautiful, kind and crazy protective about Kai and her family. I loved her from the first moment, basically from the first lines. She was strong, or was trying her best to be strong. Kai for me was really hard to picture, since he is from India, but I grown to love him. He is protective (sometime...

Inferno (Robert Langdon #4)

Image
Last week, after a lot of romance a paranormal book, I started to read something different.  Dan Brown always had a place in my heart. His books are different, and like everybody else I love conspiracy too.  The main character just as in his other books ( Angels & Demons, The DaVinci code ) is Robert Langdon . He is an expert for symbolism. There is not much  can tell you about the book without revealing some important events and ruin you the storyline. The whole book is constructed around Dante's Inferno. After he wakes up in a hospital he doesn't remember nothing from the previous couple of days. Robert and the nurse from the hospital where he woke up, are trying to escape their pursuers, and doing their best to recover Roberts memories. As we continue to read the story, we are about to find out what happened with Robert and why, just as Robert is discovering those events...again. As always the end of the book is completely unexpected, although afte...
